Vitalware modules and how to work with them

In this section you will find a description of each Vitalware module and details about how the module is used to manage vital records.

The management of the records and operations of Registries of Births, Deaths and Marriages involves a vast amount of information about people and organisations, events, purchases, administration and more.

In Vitalware this information is stored in modules that are specific to the type of information. For example:

  • The POS module manages all product purchases and applications for services (certificates, changes of name, adoptions, disinterments, etc.), including fees collected and disbursed.
  • The Products module stores information about products for sale (e.g. marriage and birth certificates).
  • Births, Deaths and Marriages modules record registration details about births, deaths and marriages and are used to produce certificates.
  • The Parties module stores information about people and organisations involved with your Registry and registrations in any way (hospitals, funeral homes, government organisations, celebrants, etc.).

Vitalware modules are accessed through the Command Centre, which displays when you log in to Vitalware.
